It may be, however, contraindicated for individuals with lactose intolerance. The typical amount of lactose per 65 mg (1 Grain) Thyroid, USP powder is 45 mg. This is compared to 12,000 – 15,000 mg in a common 8 oz (1 cup) of milk.
